04.08.2010 · Unfortunately, TightVNC Viewer for Unix cannot do scaling, and TightVNC Server for Windows cannot adjust screen resolution on client connections. As a workaround, try TightVNC Java Viewer instead of the native viewer for Linux. The latest Java Viewer can perform scaling and it should work in Linux if proper JRE is installed.
