Forget — you can remove records about missing restore points from the configuration database. Veeam Backup & Replication will “forget” these restore points and not display them in the console.

Have you tried doing something like a restore of individual files from the Backup Copy Job to see if you are able to restore them? If your merge is failing, you still have an issue that needs resolved.
