Jul 10, 2017 · I have an odd situation while trying to create a Ubuntu 16.04 server VM on Hyper-V 2016 (core). For some strange reason DNS will not resolve at all (DHCP or static IP). In fact, when going thru the installation, it actually fails to resolve DNS when detecting the Time Zone. So, it appears that the issue exists even on the Live CD.
