Apr 15, 2021 · Inderdaad de vraag van IGMP-proxy aan UBNT is al meer dan 5 jaar oud, dat was er al voor de USG en er is nog niets verandert t.o.v. de UDM, dus verwacht ook niet snel dat het komt. Toen ik starte met UBNT kon ik nog niet een SSID hebben door het hele huis, maar dat is intussen ook al mogelijk met een standaard oplossing.

The UDM doesn’t even run the same OS as the USG units. I can’t remember if the IGMP proxy binaries are even included in the UDM firmware. Never say never, but I wouldn’t hold your breath. If you need IGMP proxy support, the UDM is likely not the router for you. FWIW I have gigabit fibre and the USG handles it at full speed.

07.11.2021 · Ik gebruik de opzet van @fabianishere om een IGMP proxy te draaien, ik gebruik daarvoor firmware 1.11.0-16. Ik heb een apart VLAN opgezet voor IPTV en deze aan de 2e poort van de UDM gehangen, mijn TV ontvanger hangt hier direct aan, zonder switch ertussen. Dit is het enige apparaat in dat VLAN.

The simple answer is you cant set it up on a UDM Pro at present. You could search for igmp-proxy and Linux and install and configure it on a small Linux box ...

The UDM-PRO is a completely different beast from the old controller and gateway, ... Enter igmpproxy running on my router – the UniFi USG-PRO-4.

Nov 11, 2021 · The switches in-between the IPTV decoder and the UDM/P must have IGMP snooping enabled. They do not need to be from Ubiquiti necessarily. The FTTP NTU (or any other type of modem) of your ISP must be connected to one of the WAN ports on the UDM/P.

Hurry up and release to GP or at least get more in stock of the UDM Pro!!!!! 1 ... The device would be almost perfect, but IGMP proxy is missing.

20.08.2021 · Ik vrees ook dat ik de experia box voor de udm pro moet gaan gebruiken totdat de udm pro IGMP proxy gaat ondersteunen. Hi, I am fairly new to the forum and hope I can follow the guidelines. I am thinking of buying a UDM Pro, but in the future I need IGMP multicast for IPTV. I read in this forum that this is unfortunately still not possible with the UDM Pro. Is this true? If so, are there alternatives from ubiquiti? (e.g. with multiple products, USG, etc.)
