08.07.2020 · I enter my credentials (including 2 part authentication) and it stalls…giving me “Unable to connect to Home Assistant…Retry”. I have my devices and automations working fine and using HA on my internal network, but I can’t get the external to work. I even tried DNSMasq like PinkyWafer recommended and it did not work.

HA simply responds with an “Unable to connect to Home Assistant - RETRY” message. Can anyone help me regain access to my HA installation!

28.12.2019 · The app on my Android would only say “Unable to connect to Home Assistant.” It would never let me change the settings. I went into the settings of my phone, then into “Apps & noticifications”, then All Apps. Find Home Assistant and clear the Cache and Data. The Home Assistant log is just a file on the filesystem. You did set up samba or SSH right? If not, you will need to use a keyboard attached along with the monitor to access the file.
