30.04.2020 · So like said in the comment : #387 (comment) The default kernels Ubuntu 20.04 and by extension Pop OS 20.04 currently ship with (some version of 5.4) is causing this issue. All usual safety precautions in mind, you can fix this issue (and this worked flawlessly for me), by updating to a post 5.6 version kernel.

22.11.2016 · Regarding the kernel upgrade; I faced the same issue in the past.. DKMS seems to build everything in parallel.. Back then I disabled the AUTOINSTALL for the packages that needed ofa-kernel, and used POST_INSTALL in ofa-kernel dkms.conf to run a script that will build and install the dependent modules against the new kernel and ofa-kernel.

03.12.2014 · The mlnx-ofed-kernel-dkms package should not depend on linux-headers (which provides Linux 3.2.x headers) or any other version specific kernel headers (depending on specific version of kernel headers kind of denies the purpose of dkms). Instead it should depend on dkms. Attached is the fixed ofed deb package.
