It may or may not exist in repository. So first, we should search manually and confirm about the package availability, then we can go with external or third party repositories.
14.04.2021 · If Ubuntu Packages website also shows that the package is not available for your specific version, then you’ll have to find some other ways to install the package. Take Shutter for example. It’s an excellent screenshot tool for Linux but it hasn’t been updated in years and thus Ubuntu has dropped it from Ubuntu 18.10 and newer versions.

Done E: Unable to locate package nmap So apt couldn’t find the nmap package from its archives. We know that apt uses the source lists under /etc/apt/sources.list to locate packages.
