Tracked it down to the Unifi APs being DHCP Clients, didn't allow then to pass through the DHCP requests from the Wifi clients.

I'm new to unifi and am experimenting with some second hand kit. I've got a cloud key (1.1.19) and am running the controller (6.2.26) on it.
