Can you add a field in the Docker Settings page to define DNS as well, instead of defaulting to the DNS server defined for unraid?

Apr 07, 2021 · The work around was to stop the VM manager and Docker service on the server and then go to Settings > Network and change the DNS entry from auto (which was pointing at 192.168.1.254 the BT default) to static. I used 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 as DNS Server entries.

Aug 22, 2020 · So when a docker in, say, br0.7 tries to query DNS, it appears to use the internal docker generated address in /etc/resolv.conf of 127.0.0.x. I assume (please correct if wrong) this in turn kicks DNS queries off to the UNRAID host and it resolves through its configured DNS server in Settings > Network Settings.

I’m curious if it’s possible to use the Pi-Hole docker installed on Unraid to resolve the DNS for a WireGuard connection on the same box? This is called upon by the cron.hourly of the host unRaid system. Checks the WAN/External IP, if its different to its history it updates in GoDaddy's ZoneFile.
