16.01.2019 · If I run the credentials test in Veeam, it works for the Windows machines if I choose that credential, and fails on the Linux. If I use the Linux credentials it works there only. Basically, I don't see any place where I can tell it which credentials to use for which machines. I am tempted to break up the job, but it worked all this time.

For Backups Guest OS files and indexing(and application awareness), Veeam needs Admin rights in Guest OS(Windows and Linux).
