Dec 14, 2015 · Got the same problem after I v2ved a Win2k12r2 file server from vSphere 6.5 to Hyper-V 2016 (using a Veeam Agent for Windows 2.0 free backup Instant recovering to Hyper-V host and finalizing the Hyper-V vm), had both app-aware and Hyper-V quiescence enabled in the backup job.

I call it the 9% Issue: While perfoming a Snapshot via ANY backup tool, VM's get stuck in a state: "Creating Snapshot 9%".

26.10.2017 · This has been working fine. The only change we made recently is move the backup job to a new repository. The backup job runs fine and I've checked the source in the replication job has been updated.

Jan 30, 2014 · veeam agent file restore triggers Windows disk reapair. After I close the Restore-Wizard (Restore File), regardless if I restored or not, I get messages from Windows "Restart to repair drive errors". In the system eventlog I found errors on drive F:. My USB3 hub with card reader used F, but no sd card was inserted.

26.02.2018 · Veeam Backup Free is supposed to be a simple backup tool that backup files and OSe within the Windows Server. It may not be able to quiescence the VM long enough especially if the VM is running heavy processes. To backup the VM, you should be using Veeam B&R 9.x for hyper-V instead of the free version.
