Forget — you can remove records about missing restore points from the configuration database. Veeam Backup & Replication will “forget” these restore points and not display them in the console.
31.10.2017 · I was able to restore files from restore points that, according to the email shouldn't exist. It seems to be a false positive and I am going to open a case with support to try and get a better answer as to what's happening.

16.11.2021 · Note. Consider the following: The Forget and Remove from disk options are available only for restore points that are missing from the backup chain or points that depend on missing ones. If the restore point is available in the backup chain and does not depend on a missing restore point, you will not be able to use the Forget and Remove from disk options for it.

15.02.2017 · Re: Files does not exist errors. Since you state 12 flawless backups (once a day?) I am going to assume that you have a retention period of that number. What happens is, the first backup is a VBK, and then the others are always incremental (VIB). But when the retention period is over, we need to merge the VBK with the oldest VIB.
