I just got Veeam's free Windows tool installed and was prompted to create a Veeam recovery media. I did so, using the external drive, and found it added a 1GB partition and reduced the drive to 1.99TB. In the recovery media tool, it shows both partitions totaling the ~5.5TB.

Issue. Veeam backup job failed with error as below "Failed to call RPC function 'FcCreateDir':The username or password is incorrect.

I recommend opening a support case with Veeam to make them troubleshoot this over webex and make your retention policy "happy" ;). Upvote 2
