16.05.2014 · On one of the VM's is veeam v7 installed and there is a vpn connection to an offsite server. I can access the server from windows and also I can ping it. But when I try to add the server in veeam with admin credentials I get the error: "Network path was not found." This is after veeam is searching for previously installed components.
Oct 18, 2016 · Thanks i managed to get it to work. you indeed need to ad the service account to the local administator group. Under services set the veeam service account as log on as a service on the Veeam backup for Microsoft office 365 service. then reboot the server and it should let you add an UNC path as backup repository.

From Veeam B&R server side you can also try to use the host name instead of IP address (if admin share via host name works correctly that would be a good thing to try).

Nov 23, 2021 · Connected to domain, network, hyper-v installed and I am unable to add this server to the Virtual Infrastructure > Microsoft Hyper-V > Standalone Hosts > (server). I have my Veeam server trying to contact our new server and there seems to be a road block. I am running Veeam V11a trying to setup a new 2019 windows server.
