Well, I was just informed that Veeam is going away from socket-based licenses in 2021 and if I want to back up a new host (s), I need to buy instance-based licensing at $1100 per 10 VMs. This is an every year purchase as they are going away from the perpetual with support based model and to a purchase the product every year model.
