25.01.2016 · Now we have Problem with the VSS Provider --> Hyper-V IC Software Shadows Copy Provider. Our Backup Software Veeam has a Problem with this VSS Provider on VMware. The Hyper-V Host is gone, so we can't take the ISO from the host and start the uninstallation. I searched the internet, but found no way to uninstall these Integration Services manually.

17.08.2014 · Yes Veeam recommended I reinstall integration components. I did it on a W2k8 machine and it fixed the problem. I ran through the article you linked to. I couldn't do steps 4-5 because the Hyper-V Guest Integration Services (KB956777) wasn't there to uninstall. After restarting the OS reinstalled the Hyper-V components.

It was listed in the console under 'Replicas' but only after I searched for it with focus on 'Replicas'. Anyway - Delete from Disk processed and then I was able to remove the host.
