Jul 04, 2019 · So, presently I have on-premise Veeam server 10.0, with DAS backups and a scale-out repository to Azure blob storage with several critical jobs copying to blob encrypted. This is great and I get that I can restore these jobs in Azure with the on-prem backup servers, meaning I at least have off site backup storage and some recovery options.

Solution: When I've done Azure storage for Veeam, I use a Copy Job to duplicate a backup job to an Azure-based repository.

02.07.2011 · You can spin upna Linux machine, connect it to blob storage and then use the Linux machine as a repo. Or you can wait for the latest Veeam update that brings the cloud archive tier, allowing you to offload to Amazon And Azure blob space, which is the easiest and best option.
