Sep 07, 2011 · if someone changes a permission on a folder, lets say a root folder, I need to restore permissions to said folder. in typical backup software I can restore just the root folder and the NTSF permissions will be restored with it. In Veeam this does not happen. If the folder already exists no permissions are restored.

In this case I chose the Veeam desktop, and verify the permissions were the same on both ends. This is a temporary work around and I expect that this will be in the GUI for the next release.
