02.10.2016 · The backup did run normally 2-3 days with the fix 1 hour, big improvement. Again Veeam R&D anticipates very fast on problems with products, thanks for that. I also did create a case at Microsoft however this moves very slowly to get something done at the throttling and I don’t expect many improvement on this topic.

13.10.2021 · Increased Veeam VM memory to 16GB from 4GB. Why 16GB? At first, I’ve configured it 8GB but after booting the Veeam VM without running the VBR my memory is already consuming 38-41% with the SQL Server (VEEAMSQL2016) process. Moved my restoration host to another ESXi host, from host #1 with 7 VM running to host #2 with only 2 VM running.

The idea is install Veeam backup in other server and extract copy in usb disk, but all configuration are very slow.
