If you change only the storage stripe size to for example 256KB, the new bandwidth will become 40,51, three times the previous one! This means the same backup job will last 6,86 hours.

02.10.2016 · The backup did run normally 2-3 days with the fix 1 hour, big improvement. Again Veeam R&D anticipates very fast on problems with products, thanks for that. I also did create a case at Microsoft however this moves very slowly to get something done at the throttling and I don’t expect many improvement on this topic.
