However, it won't be of trouble for Veeam Backup and Replication(you can install free Community Edition). Use Import Backup option in VBR UI and let those data recoveries begin! /Cheers!

So I've have Veeam Endpoint installed on my laptop (and my VP's ... had 1.5 on my machine) it told me it was an unsupported backup type.

Feb 21, 2020 · When I attempt to import the VBK into Veeam Backup and Replication I get "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" @ssm_spg I only see the option to select the VBM. The VBM in the screen shot does not contain a reference to the backup I need access to from March of this year.

Oct 07, 2019 · Hi Dima, As per my reply to Veeam Support on Friday when this workaround was suggested, it does not work. There is no difference in the behavior whether I double-click the copied VBM file versus navigating to it by right clicking on Veeam in the system tray and going to Restore \ Individual Files \ Browse.
