Oct 07, 2019 · Hi Dima, As per my reply to Veeam Support on Friday when this workaround was suggested, it does not work. There is no difference in the behavior whether I double-click the copied VBM file versus navigating to it by right clicking on Veeam in the system tray and going to Restore \ Individual Files \ Browse.

In a previous post I went through the process of installing Veeam Endpoint ... system that already had a partitioned and formatted disk.

21.02.2020 · Veeam Agent will not understand VBK\VIB backup content without corresponding VBM metadata alongside. However, it won't be of trouble for Veeam Backup and Replication(you can install free Community Edition). Use Import Backup option in VBR UI and let those data recoveries begin! /Cheers!

The VBM in the screen shot does not contain a reference to the backup I need access to from March of this year.
