With NetApp hardware VSS provider you can have only one snapshot creation running within cluster at once - there is no concurrency.

Its also worth mentioning, the reason we are using the Compellent Replay VSS provider is because the volume which hosts the VMs is larger than 64TB which I believe is the limit for Windows VSS provider.

02.12.2011 · Installed Nimble's hardware VSS provider on the offhost proxy server (happens to be the Veeam mgmt server as well) and used "vssadmin list providers" to confirm I see it. Made iSCSI connection from Veeam server to the volume that holds the guest VHDs. Under the offhost proxy settings for Connected Volumes, I can see this volume on my HyperV server.

Jake, Microsoft told me the same thing in regards to using the MS CSV Writer instead of Hardware VSS due to the incompatibilities they have seen with Hardware VSS Providers.
