26.04.2021 · I am running VirtualBox but get the error NS_ERROR_FAILURE (0x80004005) on an MacBook Pro 2020 with an M1 chip I have tried everything uninstalling Virtualbox, enabling SIP in recovery mode, installing the Virtualbox again. Only thing I haven't tried is allowing Oracle in Privacy --> General since I don't see it there.
07.10.2018 · This error seems to appear with VirtualBox installs on versions of macOS 10.13. To fix this issue, you have to uninstall VirtualBox (use the VirtualBox_uninstall.toolof the VirtualBox downloaded dmg). Then, install it again executing VirtualBox.pkg.
29.04.2018 · Open: System Preferences > Security & Privacy . then on the bottom of that window you will see a message to allow access to the virtual box just click that and open Virtual Box you will be good to go but after this i ran into another problem …
So, To fix this issue you will need to be in an admin account then you will need the VirtualBox .dmg file download then you will open the dmg you should see ...
