Fusion 11 was introduced in late 2018 with support for macOS Mojave. It had free updates for two years including 11.5 in late 2019 which supported macOS Catalina.

How unfortunate VMware has made the decision to not support Big Sur with Fusion 11. That type of decision makes one wary for buying any more ...
