VMware is a commercially developed application with a limited list of supported operating systems. This guide is a courtesy to the forum don't expect any support on VMware related issues. As you can see from above reference - Archlinux and derivatives are unsupported platforms for running VMware products and as such it is unsupported on Manjaro.

23.07.2013 · Downloaded the manjaro-cinnamon-0.8.6-x86_64.iso file and validated its sha1sum. Installed using all the defaults. The default kernel is 3.9.4.1 however the headers are not available for that kernel so without the kernel headers for the running kernel VMware Tools cannot be installed in this Distro.
