17.06.2015 · G'day, guys. I'm trying to get VMWare Workstation 9.0.4 (a virtualisation software like VirtualBox) up and running on Betsy 64-bit Cinnamon. I got it installed, but now when I try to start it, I see the following message:

Jan 14, 2018 · Hi my vmware player is unable to start because of kernel module updater. When I do "install updates" , it just stops services, doing something at background and stops immediately telling that "Unable to start services" . Probably problem stems from vmware network adapter. Here is my environment infos: OS: Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS. Arch: x64.
06.05.2019 · I’m trying to install vmware workstation 15.1 on Fedora 30 but I’m unable to install some of the modules. I was able to do a workaround on the vmmon and vmnet modules by a patch but there’s still two of then, vmci and vsock, that won’t compile.
