In this guide we only explicitly list ESX compatibility information for versions prior to 5.0. If a Guest OS is supported for ESX, the Guest OS is also supported for the corresponding ESXi version.
Win 10 20H2 Causing VMware Tools to fail - Running Tools 11.2.5 - anyone ever seen this? The VM acts as if Tools isn't even installed (though it is), and displays this. I've tried updating the driver for Video Controller, but it errors out. I'm consoled into the VM using an admin account.

This problem is existing for me on Windows 10 Pro as host and guest VM. Issue: After updating host desktop to Windows 10 20H2. Enabling virtualization is not possible.
I’ve not seen a VMware tools compatibility matrix regarding specific versions of Windows 10 and VMware tools. However there are two matrices you can use to get a “best guess”: Supported versions of Windows 10 on Horizon Agent. Interoperability between VMware Tools and Horizon 7. For reference, we're on vCenter 6.7 U3 and Horizon 7.13. From initial testing, we'll need VMware Tools 11.2.1 for Windows 10 20H2 (previous tools version of 11.2.0 completely broke the VM, as if tools wasn't even installed). Thanks in advance for any help!
