If you have wget installed, the system will print wget: missing URL. Otherwise, it will print wget command not found.

Bad address means that your router cannot resolve our server's name ( www.hotspotsystem.com ). Be sure that the router is connected to the internet properly. You can also check the DNS settings of the router before you run the setup script. You can try to log in to the router via console/terminal and try root@OpenWrt:~# ping www.cnn.com

However, here that doesn't seem to be the problem, instead it is recognizing http as something different.

There must be exactly one blank between the nameserver tag and the address for nslookup to work. In addition /etc/nsswitch.conf has to include dns for host.

If you build separate wget in OE out of busybox, you will be able to get additional debug messages by passing the -d argument. MACHINE=am335x-evm bitbake wget I've attached one wget buit against the latest processor SDK for reference.
