This way other servers to do try to power it on or manipulate it in any way that can corrupt the VM. Be it Memory, virtual disks, settings. ect. 29.05.2015 · To resolve this issue I removed the VM from the inventory on both machines and then the vmx.lck file disappeared and I was able to re-add the VM back into inventory though vCenter. I hope this helps someone with their issue, sorry for the lack of pictures but if/when it happens again I will be sure to add it back in. at May 29, 2015.
