14.08.2018 · Those servers contain DNS records for our Terminal Server Farm. When the computers try to resolve the DNS entry for our remote servers they are getting the public IP via the Comcast IPv6 DNS servers instead of the private IP via our internal IPv4 DNS servers. As a temporary fix we have disabled IPv6 on all the branch PCs which corrects the issue.

02.04.2017 · I have noticed that on all my Windows 10 machines with the Anniversary Update, they no longer receive IPv6 DNS from DHCPv6 servers if network is configured for Stateless DHCP (Managed Flag unset, Other Flag Set in RA). They receive IPv6 information correctly if the network is configured for Stateful DHCP.

Seems to me that filling the Preferred DNS Server field with something is required. I suggest: Preferred DNS Server - ::1, Alternate DNS Server - blank.
