23.08.2016 · DD-WRT Forum Forum Index. I just got this router but it's a version 2. I can't find firmware on the Linksys website for version 2 (just in case I need to restore the factory firmware). I'm not sure if I downloaded the right dd-wrt firmware. I downloaded ddwrt-linksys-wrt1900acv2-webflash-r29968.bin and factory-to-ddwrt-r29968.img.

Sep 26, 2016 · I have a brand new v2 on my desk, and am quite used to flashing dd-wrt firmware but also have the same issue. I have Linksys firmware and use the linksys UI to update firmware with factory-to-ddwrt.bin. After reboot the power light flashes steadily then the eSata light flashes and it reboots again.
