I rate this show 3.8/5. The show overall was great. Some parts of the show bore me a bit, but that’s because I am used to fantasy wuxia’s. I prefer martial arts when unrealistic powers are involved. As I continued watching the show, I find it more and more intriguing. The plot twists on love were unforeseen. I love character maturity.

Wuxia movies are great because its mostly predicated on an incredible series of books written by Louis Cha (Jin Yong). His books are highly influential and genre defining - his world-building is exciting and everything reads like a historical drama despite being wuxia fantasy.
