17.05.2015 · If you are dead set on using Compiz, use Linux Mint 17.1 MATE or Xfce. Both support Compiz and come with it already installed and configured ready for use. Desktop cube, wobbly windows, and other effects are supported natively on KDE so you could also use Linux Mint 17.1 KDE and have no need for Compiz. You can also use the Kwin compositor in XFCE.
Any other window manager on linux that has wobbly effects windows like compiz? I might update my desktop and ditch compiz/xfce. It's relatively getting old, and compiz is not supported by pacman (at least the one compatible with xfce).
