Mar 21, 2010 · The chances that the OP's P-125 is behaving differently from any other P-125:. . . . very, very small chance. Since it is audible in headphones, it's _not_ caused by "room resonance", or a problem with the DP's loudspeakers, so it can't be cured by modifying the room acoustics. What the OP is hearing, is sound which has been _designed by Yamaha_.

There have been several reports that some of the keys are stuck or doesn't produce a sound. Usually having a replacement unit would fix that ...

May 09, 2018 · The Yamaha P-125 keypad sensors work well for their task and allow you to perform fast temperament, responsive to pressing a key in any of its ranges. Perhaps, a sputtering on white keys is one thing that you could ask for (it is only on black keys), so that fingers do not slip during long playing sessions.
