I would say that it is as secure as google in a sense that it is a huge reputable company and if you are not a member of Russian opposition - your photos and phone number are safe.They offer good price, but the photo app is rather awful, it’s essentially a cloud app with simplest possible gallery features.

Yandex.Disk looks like a good service, but the servers are located in Russia, and they don't have any real security policies. They just say that your files stored safely. Sync seems like a nice service; however, I haven't found many reviews. I think it's a developing service which lacks some features, but it already provides security.
