08.10.2021 · youtube-dl returns the ERROR: 'bool' object has no attribute 'split'. When downloading some videos with youtube-dl returns the following 4 lines. Some videos downloads with no problems at all. This is a new installation of mint. All the youtube-dl scripts worked perfect on the previous installation of mint.

25.03.2021 · Does that mean the contrubutors are unlikely to fix any issues that occure outside the US. it's not about the issue not related to the US, it's that youtube won't allow access to the video when you're accessing a non-embedable age-restricted video from the EU with passing the new age verification requirement, youtube-dl can't simply bypass this condition.

16.05.2021 · I've verified that I'm running youtube-dl version 2021.05.16. I've checked that all provided URLs are alive and playable in a browser. I've checked that all URLs and arguments with special characters are properly quoted or escaped. I've searched the bugtracker for similar bug reports including closed ones. I've read bugs section in FAQ.
04.10.2019 · Worked perfectly. Get Cookies saves the file in your Download folder and if you copy paste the youtube-dl command you have to add “.\” in front and edit the cookie file name.
GUI Development does not have to be difficult nor painful. It can be (and is) ... This downloader can download files as well as YouTube videos and metadata.
