when I used windoze I also had a crash problem (and steam version was worse than standalone), my solution: after you click "play" don't move your mouse and don't touch the keyboard until you see the login screen, it usually took 2 tries to start albion. no such problems on linux btw ;p

Mar 03, 2020 · Mine wouldnt launch from Steam. I get to the 0% – 100% load screen and when it’d hit 100% the game would go back to desktop. My fix was to load the game via the Albion Online launcher exe file and right click on it and open as administrator.
