Had the same problem, download was failing with various errors. Tried reinstalling, etc. but nothing helped. Finally updated after about 20 minutes of trying. Some guy was in Martlock Conquerors' Hall doing duel scams, and I was curious as to how the scam worked, so I dueled him for 1m silver. He then ran up the stairs but technically still in the circle to lock me into the duel, and obviously I can't reach him because I didn't have running gear.

Apr 01, 2020 · Start EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe from your installation folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\AlbionOnline\game\EasyAntiCheat) and use Repair Service. If that doesn't help I'd suggest uninstalling the game together with EAC and install the game fresh.
