I'm unable to connect to the server. It seems to time out (takes a few seconds) and then it says "Failed to connect to server." I tried using a Mac laptop and a Windows desktop. I tried bypassing my router. None of this helped. I set up a wifi hotspot with my phone using the 3G network and then it worked but that's not a solution for me.
Jun 09, 2019 · Hi Aldoborre, issue can be with IP geoblocking which is what is put in the middle of the AO servers and your client. Have found after looking around that they are using a 3rd party DDOS client however while it does the job, some smaller ISP and IP are being blocked.

Mar 03, 2013 · I was able to play earlier today with no issues, but now after I hit the login button, it delays for several seconds, then gives me the message, "Failed to connect to server". I did turn off my firewall and added Albion to the list of exceptions, and nothing.

Aug 15, 2019 · Then restart your router and type "ipconfig /flashdns" in the command prompt to clear your DNS Cache and see if it works then. If not, then go into your network settings and set the DNS Server to 8.8.8.8 and try to login to the game again.
My Internet connection is fine. However, I am trying to play on Linux Pop!_OS 19.04 (Ubuntu 19.04) and this is the only program that doesn't work or connect to anything. Thought this game was cross-platform ready and friendly?

It does not seems to be a problem related to Server Downtime. Since this morning, after updating android to CY Mod 13 I'm not able to connect to the server anymore. Is this a known issue? Everytime I try to login I get the response: Failed to connect to server. With CY Mod 12 = Everything allright / CY Mod 13 = no connection.
