13.08.2017 · One of Albion Online major lag problem is for sure the master server concept!!! There will be always problems for player that connect from a distance far away from the game server and due distance latency increases and there is no solution available to overcome the distance latency, even if some gaming services claim different.

09.01.2020 · I'm not sure if the Technical Director of Albion Online has seen this forum and what people are saying but he should pay close attention. I see lag spikes and overall ping og 145 to 165.. jumps to 250 or even 350 daily many times. Makes dodging and such very difficult.

May 04, 2017 · On linux it's smooth as butter and I only get lag when im loading up caerleon market or something that i kinda expect it when the client is rendering 250+ characters on the screen. My solution, is a crappy one, but I setup dual boot with linux mint just for Albion.

Apr 07, 2018 · Lag is really issue. IDK since when 150 ping (10ms should be reasonable not perfect for fast paced games) is OK. I can see most of the players just porting around and it makes very hard to hit skill shots. I know that servers are in America but that really makes game unplayable for some people.

29.07.2017 · Albion is simply not optimized at all... And the bad part is that at this point so close release there wont be a breakthrought. It has been the same with all other MMOS. If the BETA shows that there are problems with performance, lags, fps drops, and other technical then there aint enough time to fix it.
