Aug 12, 2010 · It's my first time using iptables and all the information I see online seems to indicate i'm doing it correctly. The router is a Linksys E2000 with DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/12/10) std-usb-ftp (SVN revision 14929).

I have the same problem and I tried to create a symblink from iptables to iptables-save which was advised on their wiki page DD-WRT_V24_.26_iptables-save, but it did not work for me. To solve this I made a shell file showing the contents of /tmp/.ipt .

Solution: Idiot friendly response: Add a iptable entry on the DD-WRT router that blocks all traffic from the Guest network destined for the private network.

It seems like you should enter custom iptables commands in the http interface by accessing Administration-> Commands-> Save Firewall.
