How it works in DD-WRT: To configure your radio channels in the WebGUI you browse to the "Basic Settings" under the "Wireless" page on your DD-WRT router. If you have dual band router (ie. I'm using both radios (5Ghz + 2.4Ghz) - ath0 with "fastest" settings and ath1 with "most compatible" ones to use with IoT and other "smart" devices.

23.09.2018 · I am currently running DD-WRT v3.0-r30796 std (10/25/16) firmware. All other versions I had problems with getting my VPN to work. I am using the same SSID for all of them. One thing I did which fixed the poor 802.11ac performance and WiFi dropouts was changing the Channel Width and the Protection Mode for each network to the following setting.
