Personal opinion: it feels more cosmetically refined than Firefox's Relay e.g. you can click on the "DuckDuckGo removed trackers from x and more →" at the top of an email and you'll be directed to a webpage with the trackers removed, the email alias that was used, the senders email and a button to deactivate the alias, along with other FAQ and privacy information.

On mobile, DDG has its own browser, but does not have a desktop browser currently. Firefox Focus isn't even advertised on mozilla.org anymore as one of their products and there was 5 months between the latest update on iOS.

Out of the box with no changes, duckduckgo. If you're willing to put time into customizing, Firefox wins easily. That being said I don't personally trust duckduckgo yet as I haven't done research on it beyond knowing its in the usa and the search engine is better then using google.
