12.02.2020 · I get a Network Error: Bad Gateway(502) ... .0.0.1:8086 is not valid in the container (localhost in the container != OS localhost - container lives in the different network namespace usually). Grafana container in your case is in monitoring network, so connect to influxdb:8086, instead of 127.0.0.1:8086.
I have a whole bunch of services on this machine and networking hasn't been an issue. I also tried Access: Browser in Grafana with the same error being thrown.

28.11.2019 · It looks like Grafana throws a Network Error: Bad Gateway(502) message if a certificate is issued by an authority that is not trusted. I solved this by installing the self-signed certificate as a root certificate following this guideline: How do I install a root certificate?. Please note this is not recommended for production systems.

InfluxDB: .24 Telegraf: .25 Grafana: .26. Each box is the same OS, updated to current. Telegraf on one, Grafana on one, and InfluxDB on the other. Everything works fine until I get to adding the data source to Grafana, and then I get: Network Error: Bad Gateway(502) I'm running UFW, so I added the following rules to all three boxes:
