Using manjaro-architect install the system with Btrfs,subvolums,kde,etc · Once the system is installed, install timeshift, load the backup.

But yes, this is a planned feature in Manjaro. If you want this now, just install grub-btrfs and timeshift-autosnap on any btrfs installation.

Btrfs not only is a file system, but also is partly a volume manager, software-raid, backup-tool, and it is flash-friendly.

Timeshift supports BTRFS snapshots, but not backups. A snapshot is taken from the ... I use above combination on 5 machines running Manjaro.
