It appears that timeshift-autosnap and grub-btrfs came fully functional out of the box. So every time I update my system, timeshift automatically takes a snapshot which is then displayed under manjaro snapshots in grub boot menu. Problem is: if I want to boot into one of the snapshots I immediately end up in emergency shell.

Remember that at heart Linux is a multi-user operating system. ... Linux Lite v4.x series and Manjaro 'Strit' ... do not include this part.

So I've remove the program and deleted the backup directories it created and reinstalled. But even though I removed it, it still remembers the old configuration--and thus still doesn't work. Does anyone know where the configuration file is kept.
