Don't get me wrong both are very good. And Manjaro/Arch and OpenSuse are also great choices. you wouldn't make a huge mistake to choose whichever distribution.

Mar 30, 2018 · imho, I prefer manjaro-kde-plasma, over kubuntu, but with (no offence to kubuntu), and it's too bad Mint has dropped KDE recently, but that 's ok, 'cause they've got enough on their plate just trying to keep up with Gnome3's whims and changes, just to make sure your Mate, and Cinnamon shine on.
