Currently, in stable repo, it is at 5.11.rc7 (release candidate 7). 5.11.1-1, which is full stable release is currently in testing and unstable.

If you want a perfect stable system you should not use Manjaro, so.. yes the newest is usually the best. If something is not working anymore just switch back via GRUB (and don't uninstall the old Kernel so you actually can switch Back). Especially for new laptops/hardware new kernels often work way better. -3.

I great benefit that i can see is that that kernel will have new hardware drivers available for new hardware. as a use case. i just a new laptop computer and i couldn't install manjaro at all. i had to resort to arch linux

The kernels marked as Recommended are LTS (Long Term Support) kernels, they're not a downgrade. Always keep at least two different kernel versions installed: The most recent LTS and the latest stable if you have newer hardware, or maybe a couple LTS versions if you have older hardware. FYI, both 5.13 and 5.14 are EOL (End Of Life).
