Nvidia's proprietary driver is the best proprietary driver for Linux. The OpenGL and Vulkan drivers you get have great performance. Nvidia keeps up well with changes in the Linux kernel, there's usually a working driver package available the moment a new kernel version is released. The open-source driver for Nvidia is the worst.

As someone whos run multiple AMD GPUs over the years for Linux gaming, I would highly recommend sticking with the open source drivers. AMDGPU-Pro doesn't support Arch/Manjaro and is actually slower with gaming (except for a select few Vulkan titles) so the really isn't a good reason to run them.
