Sep 30, 2020 · Hey there! I’m using manjaro with a proxy. When enabling the aur helper in Add/Remove Software, the AUR tab always just shows “No packages”. I set the http_proxy variables. Pamac uses the system network - if your system works - e.g. internet browser using the proxy - then Pamac will work as well as it requires no special settings.

I tried all kinds of methods: set the http_proxy and https_proxy in /etc/environment. set .bashrc for both root user and current user. use gsettings to set gnome proxy. None of those works.

My QBittorent is not downloading anything when um using a proxy. I set proxy settings globally for the whole system.
