You need to find out which of the partitions was the boot partition. You can safely replace it and the new bootloader should be able to find the old OS.

20.11.2016 · Use the partition you want to replace as root. Choose the EFI partition for mounting at /boot/efi and not to be formated, Leave the windows partition alone if you want to keep it. When you build a system using btrfs - I assume that for the wake-up process to work - it would require the initramfs to be able to read the filesystem where the swapfile is stored.
